Terms of Use

Fluid Balance · Effective 19 August 2026

By downloading or using Fluid Balance, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

What this app is

Fluid Balance is a diary. You record what you drink and what you pass, and the app adds it up and hands the record back to you.

It does not diagnose. It does not compare your entries to any norm. It does not interpret them or tell you what they mean. It gives no health advice and makes no clinical claims.

Self-reported diary. Not a medical document. Anything you export is a record of what you typed, nothing more. Decisions about your health belong to you and your doctor. Never delay seeking professional advice because of something you saw in this app.

Licence

You get a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, under the rules of the App Store. You may not resell it, rent it, reverse-engineer it, or redistribute it.

Purchases

The app offers one non-consumable in-app purchase, Pro, which unlocks the PDF report, the Advanced analytics page, and the dark app icon. It is a one-time purchase, not a subscription, and it carries no recurring charge.

Recording entries, the daily summary, the statistics grid, and CSV export are never restricted.

All payments are handled by Apple. Refunds are handled by Apple under App Store policy; the developer cannot issue them. Purchases can be restored on your other devices with the same Apple Account through Restore Purchases in Settings.

Your data is yours

Your entries stay on your device and, if you enable it, in your own private iCloud database. You are responsible for keeping your own backups. The developer has no access to your entries and therefore cannot recover them if you delete them or lose your device.

No warranty

The app is provided as is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. The developer does not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error free, or that calculated totals will be free of defects.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including lost data or health decisions made in reliance on it. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the app.

Nothing here limits rights you have under the consumer law of your country that cannot be limited by agreement.

Apple

Apple is not a party to these terms and has no obligation to provide support for the app. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

Changes

These terms may be updated. The current version is always on this page with its effective date. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it.
